“Persian and Byzantines” chess pieces – is a themed chess set made of stone (polystone). Each item of the set is hand-painted. Each of the pieces is shaped as a character of war conflicts between Roman Empire (later Byzantium) and Sasanid Iran (Persia).
The base of pieces has a black velvet lining, which provides the piece with more stable position on the board and eliminates the scratches while moving your stone chess piece on the board. All pieces are in the gift colored box.
