“The tatar-mongols and Russian Dukes” chess pieces (without a board) – is a themed chess set made of stone (polystone). Each item if the set is hand-painted. Pieces are shaped as the characters during Russian history, full of battles of Russian warriors against the forces of tatar-mongolian principality during the XIII-XV centuries AD.
The base of pieces has a black velvet lining, which provides the piece with more stable position on the board and eliminates the scratches while moving your stone chess piece on the board.
