A unique set of six chess courses. Five courses on the middlegame are put together (Encyclopedia of Middlegame, volumes I-V), covering the theory and practice of the middlegame for each of the openings. The sixth course, Chess Strategy, explores 18 strategic motifs (Weak squares, Pawn structure etc.) and typical structures (Isolated pawn, Hanging pawns etc.).
Each of the six courses contains rich theoretical material for the corresponding openings and variations, and positions to solve. In total, the Chess Middlegame Collection includes more than 3000 games/lectures prepared by GM Alexander Kalinin and more than 4000 exercises to solve.
